Name:
Location: Oceanside, CA, United States

You could describe me with the 5 C's: ~Christian,Conservative, Compassionate, Capitalist, Constitutionalist. I am a broken man, in more ways than one; I am a sinner and beg for forgiveness daily, and I, somewhat like Paul, have a thorn in my side (2 Cor 12:7), it reminds me daily that I must ask for God's grace, mercy and strength.

Update on Lauren

Keep those prayers going:

Here's an update from Lauren's mom, Tammy:

Lauren definitely has developed mucositis (nasty mouth sores) from the
chemotherapy. They are painful and are preventing her from eating or
drinking much. This is very concerning as nutrition is so important right
now. It is also very difficult to persuade her to take her oral meds, of
which there are many! Her white blood cell count is now very low. We are
watching her closely for signs of infection, as this is a somewhat
expected but potentially serious complication. She will probably require
blood and/or platelet transfusions by this Friday, when we are scheduled
to see the doctor again. She is beginning to really act like she feels
bad, which is so heartbreaking. Please pray that God will spare her from
many of the terrible side effects and complications that can result from
the chemotherapy. Continue to pray for the doctors and nurses, that they
will continue to know how to best care for Lauren. We continue to trust
God with our precious Lauren. Thank you for your kind words and prayers.
Please, please continue to pray for Lauren.
