Update on Prayer Request

Please keep this request in mind for your daily prayers:

The email notify list for Lauren continues to grow. I have gotten so
many
positive emails from so many people this week. Thanks again for your
thoughts and prayers.

Reese and Tammy had a long meeting with the doctor yesterday. The
results
of the bone marrow biopsy proved negative, showing no sign of cancer
cells in the marrow. This is a clear answer to prayer, as it was
everyone’s fear that the cancer cells would have been apparent within
the
marrow.

The oncologist seemed a bit more positive about things yesterday than he
had been on Wed, but he is still clear that the Leukemia has returned.
They had also rechecked Lauren’s spinal fluid on Wed. and this time the
results came back negative; however Lauren had undergone chemo on Friday
last, and this treatment likely ‘masked’ the presence of the cancer
cells
in the spinal fluid when they checked it the second time. Still, it is
positive news that the cancer appears to be at a less developed stage.

Please continue to pray for Reese and Tammy and Lauren’s doctors as they
develop the next course of treatment that Lauren will undergo. There are
so many factors that have to be considered for her because of her
seizure
disorder, the greater risk that she has for developing fungal
infections,
the CP, etc. They will be meeting again next week to discuss everything
further. I’ll let you know what comes next.
