Name:
Location: Oceanside, CA, United States

You could describe me with the 5 C's: ~Christian,Conservative, Compassionate, Capitalist, Constitutionalist. I am a broken man, in more ways than one; I am a sinner and beg for forgiveness daily, and I, somewhat like Paul, have a thorn in my side (2 Cor 12:7), it reminds me daily that I must ask for God's grace, mercy and strength.

What a great promise God has for being generous, with His money. I am truly blessed in this life and have much to spare. The Lord has given to me everything I need to be fruitful! I have a job, a car, house, family, and I am content. What I have I try very hard to give to those who have less. It pains me when I see those at the side of the road, you know what I mean. The sign that says, "Homeless and hungry..." How many of them have you seen. I also need to stretch myself and give more of my time as well. I need to take time to share my faith with those lost souls.

A glorious morning to all!

I struggle every day to define my roll as an employee. Daily I pray that the Lord will reveal to me how I can make a difference. Does my job, as a banker, fulfill God's meaning for me? I have to be reminded that I am God's messenger and tool (not sure if that's the right word I'm looking for). I provide for my family, and I help fund God's work. I struggle with feelings of simply being a product pusher, but God reminds me that I am helping Him and others. People need checking accounts etc. My job is to discover needs that a customer may have and fill it with the products and services that we offer. Thank you Lord for my job and the funds that you provide for me.

Today I read James 1. My wife and I welcomed our first child this year, and upon finding out that my wife was pregnant I received the verse James 1:17.
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. I could not help but feel that I was given a wonderful gift from God. Our daughter, Samantha, was born almost 7 weeks early. The Lord put us in and out of the hospital for two weeks in July, finally on the 23rd everything was right, in His time. All of the doctors, nurses, and other staff were wonderful! We received the best care and kindness, all due to God's hand guiding us to that date and time. We truly believe that God's divine intervention gave us the gift of Samantha! She is perfectly healthy, and doing great!
